Cookies and local storage
Last updated: 2026-09-11
1. What do we use?
Ayamail only uses strictly necessary local storage: your sign-in session, language choice and app settings. We use no advertising or tracking cookies. Ayamail is a product developed and owned by 3XAYA LTD, company number 17437429, which is also the controller.
2. In the app
In the iOS app your session is stored securely on the device so you stay signed in. Signing out removes it.
3. Diagnostics
We collect anonymous error and crash reports so we can fix bugs. Reports never contain the contents of your emails. Questions can be sent to privacy@ayamail.net.
Four categories
We group storage into four categories: necessary, preferences, statistics and marketing.
Only necessary storage is always on. The other three stay off until you switch them on yourself.
- Necessary: login, security, language and your cookie choice.
- Preferences: theme and display choices in the app.
- Statistics: anonymous page measurement, only if you agree.
- Marketing: not used today and only enabled with fresh consent.
Consent and withdrawal
Nothing non-essential is stored before you press Accept. If you press Reject, only that choice is stored.
You can change your choice at any time with the Cookie settings button in the footer, and the change applies immediately.
Control in your browser
You can also clear storage directly in your browser settings. Clearing the necessary storage signs you out.
If you have questions about the list, write to privacy@ayamail.net.
